Organisation approvals

The Agency's Organisations Approval department is responsible for the following activities:

Design Organisations

  • The management of all design organisation applications;
  • the issue of related DOA certificates and their continued surveillance;
  • the issue of compliance statements for alternative procedures

Production Organisation Approvals (POA)

  • The management of all applications from non EU countries (or from an EU country upon request of the competent authority of that country) for production organisation approvals (POA);
  • the issue of related certificates and their continued surveillance.

Continuing Airworthiness Organisation Approvals

  • The management of all applications from non EU countries for maintenance (MOA), maintenance training organisation approvals (MTOA), Part-M, sub part G continuing airworthiness management organisation approvals (CAMO) and Part-M sub part F approvals (Sub part F);
  • the issue of related certificates and their continued surveillance.
