Structure

The structure of the rules concerning pilot licensing and medical certification, cabin crew, air operations and third country operators is as follows:

* ARA – authority requirements for aircrew; ARO – authority requirements for air operations; ART – authority requirements for third country operators; CAT – commercial air transport; FCL - flight crew licensing; ; CS - Certification Specifications; FSTD - flight simulation training device; ORA – organisation requirements for aircrew; ORO – organisation requirements for air operations; NCC – non-commercial operations with complex motor-powered aircraft; NCO – non-commercial operations with other-than-complex motor-powered aircraft; SPA – operations requiring specific approvals (e.g. low visibility operations); SPO – specialised operations (e.g. aerial work); TCO – third country operators.
