Latest News (April 2012) - Our first Technical Publications, Part-M and Part-145, will be amended and brought up-to-date in the course of 2012.
In the coming months, Part-66 will be published as a new Technical Publication. It will be available both in print and electronic format.
More Technical Publications are expected to follow, so keep track of our publications by subscribing to this page.!
With the increasing regulatory tasks of EASA, the provision of rules in different media and user-friendly formats are becoming important. The Technical Publications present these additional formats to facilitate access, understanding and application of rules by the regulated persons.
One of the most important features of Technical Publications in the specific case of Airworthiness rules is the consolidation of the Implementing Rule with its related Acceptable Means of Compliance and Guidance Material. While the rules and AMCs are consolidated, they still remain distinguishable from each other via colour coding on the pages. In addition, amendment lines along the sides of the texts point to the latest amendment.
Thus far, we have a printed and an electronic format. For our first publications, Part-M and Part-145 of IR 2042/2003, a printed handbook with a CD is available for sale from the EU Bookshop via this page. The CD contains the bookmarked and cross-referenced version of the PDF, as well as the respective EASA forms. The hyperlinked format makes the reading and working with the rule faster and easier.
