Production Organisation Approvals (POAs) are managed by EASA in accordance with Subpart G of Regulation (EC) 1702/2003. The agency is responsible for:
On 25 January 2005 a Decision of the Executive Director -
ED Decision 2005/01/CF - was taken establishing the Agency's Internal Certification Working Procedures. This decision followed
Decision No 3/2004 of 3 February 2004 of the Management Board concerning the general principles related to the certification procedures to be applied by the Executive Director of the European Aviation Safety Agency for issuing of certificates for organisations (referred to by the Agency as the 'OCP Decision').

EASA Form 4 - Management Personnel

Note: the purpose of Form 4 is to enable the POA Team Leader to confirm to the applicant the identity of those managers nominated in accordance with Part 21 Subpart G. Please refer to the
relevant section of the Subpart-G AMC document, which states "The applicant should provide a completed copy of EASA Form 4 for each of the key management staff identified by Part 21 Subpart G. The EASA Form 4 is a confidential document and will be treated as such."

The European Aviation Safety Agency has applied fees for its certification activities since 1 June 2005. The fees are detailed in the 'Fees and Charges' Regulation (EC No 488/2005) which was adopted by the European Commission in the week of 21 March 2005 and published in the EU Official Journal on 30 March 2005. This regulation was repealed by COMMISSION REGULATION (EC) No 593/2007 of 31 May 2007 on the fees and charges levied by the European Aviation Safety Agency entering into force on 1 June 2007.
