Procurement

The European Aviation Safety Agency is one of the European Community's 16 agencies. EASA is a body under European public law which possesses its own legal personality but is distinct from Community institutions such as the Council, Parliament, Commission, etc.

As such, the Agency is subject to the provisions of the Financial Regulation applicable to the general budget of the European Communities, the EASA Financial Regulation and the relevant directives relating to the coordination of procedures for the award of public contracts.
