Eiropas Aviācijas drošības aģentūra ir atbildīga par Eiropas Savienības aviācijas drošības stratēģiju. Mūsu mērķis ir nodrošināt drošības un vides aizsardzības augstākos kopējos standartus civilās aviācijas jomā.

Kopējā stratēģija
Gaisa transports ir kļuvis par drošāko ceļošanas veidu. Tā kā gaisa satiksme turpina paplašināties, ir vajadzīga kopēja iniciatīva Eiropas līmenī, lai nodrošinātu gaisa transporta drošību un ilgtspējību. Kaut arī valsts iestādes turpina veikt lielāko daļu operatīvo uzdevumu, piemēram, konkrētu gaisa kuģu sertifikāciju vai pilotu licenču izdošanu – Aģentūra izstrādā kopējus drošības un vides aizsardzības noteikumus Eiropas līmenī. Tā pārrauga standartu saskaņošanu, veicot pārbaudes dalībvalstīs, un ir atbildīga par vajadzīgajām tehniskajām konsultācijām, apmācību un pētījumiem. (read more...)

15 May 2009 The Agency offers an additional conference to inform stakeholders on the state of play of the different Notices of Proposed Amendment (NPAs) following the extension of responsibilities to air operations, flight crew licensing and third country operators. The Conference will specifically focus on performance based rulemaking and the proposed approach of using certification specifications and acceptable means of compliance. The one-day conference "Locally Approved, Globally Accepted - a regulatory approach to harmonisation and flexibility" will take place in Cologne on 23 June 2009. For more information, click here.
